Ordinary Skincare Review

The Ordinary Skincare took the world by storm, out of the blue it was all over tiktok,
Instagram, youtube, and basically every form of social media out there. That got me thinking,
“what makes this skincare so special?”. I scoured the internet for the most popular products and
decided to see how they preformed on different skin types. One of their most popular products is
the AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling solution, but its most commonly known as “that red drippy
mask all over tikok”. A couple of my friends and I decided to try the mask out, as well as some
other products of theirs, to see if it was worth the “hype”. I picked up the natural moisturizer,
buffet, magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10%, the Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution and of
course, the AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling solution.
I tested this skincare line to with two friends of mine, due to the fact that we all have
different skin types: oily, combination, and dry. We have all been using this skincare for about 2
months and have figured out what works for us.
Across the board, we all agreed that the natural moisturizer wasn’t very different, or
special from our normal moisturizers, but the Buffet was actually a great moisturizer and has
helped improve the elasticity of all of our skin. As for the Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10%
we were in agreement that it has really brightened up our skin. The Glycolic Acid 7% Toning
Solution has reduced the amount of oil on my skin and has cleared up some acne scars, but for
the combination and dry skin, they said that it wasn’t much help. Finally, we all agreed that the
AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling solution has helped reduce our acne scars and we don’t breakout
as often.
Given that, I will be repurchasing the Buffet, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10%,
Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution, and the infamous AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling solution.
Overall, we all agreed that the Ordinary Skincare was indeed “worth the hype” due to the fact
that it is extremely affordable, works on almost all skin types, and has improved our skin
tremendously.
